The Rheumatology service at the Boris Clinic provides outpatient care for the management of adult patients with systemic autoimmune rheumatic illness and inflammatory arthritis
The Boris Clinic is home to the McMaster Lupus Clinic, Young Adult Rheumatic Disease (YARD) Clinic and general rheumatology clinics with a focus on inflammatory arthropathies (e.g. Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spondyloarthropathy and Connective Tissue Diseases)
Patients attending these clinics will have the opportunity to participate in research studies, including Phase II and Phase III trials of novel therapeutics (Particularly in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus).
- Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Seronegative Spondyloarthropathies (PsA, Ankylosing Spondylitis)
- Young Adult Rheumatic Disease
Patients need to be referred by their primary care team to one of the rheumatologists currently offering care at the Boris Clinic. Referrals will be reviewed and triaged to the appropriate physician depending on consult question and current wait times for consultation.
