Hematologic Disorders Clinic

The Hematologic Disorders Clinic provides investigation and management of patients with benign (non-cancer) hematologic disorders. Patients in this clinic will be presenting for initial investigation or follow-up for their hematologic disorder.

Services include hematology consultation and follow-up. Investigation often includes blood work prior to each visit and may include imaging and/or bone marrow biopsy procedure if required. Treatments may include medication, transfusion of blood products, infusion of iron or phlebotomy.

A trained physician assistant may be involved in care delivery, as supervised by Dr. Zeller.

Referrals are reviewed and triaged by Dr. Zeller. Patients will be seen in order of need, by the first available visit date. Referrals can also be screened through the Ontario eConsult service.
