To empower our patients and their families in playing an active role in their own health care, we are pleased to offer access to MyChart™ and PocketHealth which are web-based portals that provide access to a patient’s medical and diagnostic imaging records.

MyChart™ is a free, secure online tool that gives patients easy access to their health information, any time, from anywhere. Patients can view test results and other clinical records, enter personal health information, share their records and securely message their physician or healthcare professional.

Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) is leading the deployment of MyChart™ not only at our various sites but also at dozens of other hospitals across southwest Ontario. It’s the largest regional deployment of a patient portal platform in Ontario.

When will MyChart™ be available to HHS patients?

MyChart is currently available to all patients at Juravinski Cancer Centre, McMaster Children’s Hospital, and Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre. Please note only patients 12 years of age and older can register for MyChart. Wider enrollment will be extended to other hospital sites in early 2020.

Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) now offers patients and their families access to their medical imaging records online. Once patients enrol for access they can view their entire medical imaging history at all HHS sites, share imaging instantly with any physician or even burn their own CD/USB from home. There is a $5.00 fee at the time of enrollment, and it includes permanent access to all previous imaging and radiologist reports as well as any new exams patients undergo over the following two weeks.

Patients can access the online form to enroll or fill out the paper form they are given at the time of registration and submit it to Diagnostic Services reception.
