We are a general consultation practice serving patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal, hepatic (liver), and pancreatic diseases. Many of our patients have gastrointestinal diseases such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, functional gastrointestinal diseases, motility disorders, and problems with nutrition.
- Upper GI endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Paracentesis
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube placement and replacement.
We kindly request that patients bring a complete list of current medications to their appointment.
Formal referral from another physician is required.
In consideration of our long wait lists, and in order to offer all patients the earliest possible appointment, we appreciate your cooperation in keeping your scheduled appointments.
Please notify the Dr. Xenodemetropoulos’ office (905-521-2100 ext. 73884) as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment, as we can then offer it to another patient.
Please note that if you do not notify Dr. Xenodemetropoulos’ office AT LEAST TWO BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE to cancel or reschedule a clinic visit, endoscopic procedure or other test, you may incur a charge you the following fees:
- Missed consultation appointment: $100
- Missed follow-up clinic appointment: $75
- Missed upper GI endoscopy: $125
- Missed flexible sigmoidoscopy: $125
- Missed colonoscopy: $200
- Missed upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy (combined procedure): $325
Please note that these fees are in compliance with the Policy on Block Fees and Uninsured Services (#3-10) of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. These fees are imposed by Dr. Xenodemetropoulos, and do not reflect any official policy of either McMaster University or Hamilton Health Sciences.
